Alan Reifman has a new book out, titled "Hot Hand," about streaky sports performances. There is a small section on "gym rat" free-throw specialists, with mentions of NBSA shooting greats, Rick Rosser, Tom Amberry, and Ted St. Martin on page 79.

Kay Seamayer – a 71-year-old “Granny Globetrotter” from Dallas – is a finalist in week #3 of the world’s largest game of H.O.R.S.E, where the Harlem Globetrotters take on their fans. Fans submit their best trick shots via the team’s Facebook page and the public votes on the top videos.
In Kay’s video, she nails a blindfolded free throw while sporting her red, white, and blue “Granny Globetrotter” uniform.

Two days ago I received a simple but unique little appendage that clips on the front of a basketball rim to aid in focusing on the target for improving one's shot.
