SPRINGFIELD – Defending a title is one of the toughest things to do in sports – right up there with sinking an important free throw with the game on the line.
Thirteen-year-old Taylor Robertson did both on Saturday during the 41st annual Elks National Hoop Shoot competition held at Western New England University.
Robertson hit 24 of her 25 attempts from the charity stripe to successfully retain
her crown. In 2012, the McPherson, Kan., sharpshooter hit all 25 attempts.
